At American Factory Direct Furniture, we pride ourselves in providing above and beyond delivery service. We offer our clients the ability to track their delivery live and in real time via our website. Your furniture will arrive to your home in an American Factory Direct delivery truck designed for the furniture industry.

In an effort to ensure the best possible delivery experience, we would like for you to take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our delivery processes. Additionally, we would like to remind you to inform your sales associate of any obstructions that could prohibit our trucks from accessing your home. I.e. low power lines, tree branches or narrow roadways. Your delivery is very important to us so if there is any part of our delivery process that you would like clarified please ask your sales associate or feel free to call our delivery coordinator at 985-871-0300 ext. 8027.

Please do not refuse delivery because of minor damage or factory defects. American Factory Direct has industry leading service technicians. They can usually take care of a service claim much more quickly than the manufacturer and with less inconvenience to you.

Any delivery beyond our delivery zone requires a $5,000 minimum purchase, and the delivery fee will be approximately 10% of the total sale. We generally do not deliver beyond 350 miles from our distribution center.

Box-To-Door

  • Deliveries are made Tuesday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • You will need to designate a safe dry area for your shipped items to be placed.
  • Shipping delivery drivers are not allowed to bring merchandise up stairways or enter homes.
  • Items found to have damage in the box must be repackaged and set outside for a scheduled safe pickup and re delivery of your item.
  • Due to the size of our trucks, shipping box to door customers will need concrete driveway access

Full Set Up

  • Deliveries are made Tuesday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Our professional delivery service is one of the best values offered in the industry.
  • We leave no messy packing materials at your home.
  • Our trained professional delivery team will place, set up, and complete your assembly in your home.
  • American Factory Direct is responsible for any delivery damage to merchandise reported upon delivery.
  • Included with our Full Set Up and Delivery service, we can send a qualified service technician to your home to correct manufacturing defects when reported within 3 days of delivery.

  • At American Factory Direct we value each and every one of our clients. We believe that our customers are the most important visitors on our premises. That’s why when you arrive at our facility for merchandise pick up you become our priority.
  • Please bring your original sales order number along with a photo ID Please make sure your vehicle can accommodate your purchase. If you need dimensions of your piece, our online sales team is happy to help! For insurance purposes, we are unable to help secure your merchandise. It is the customer’s responsibility for securing their load. Before leaving please make sure your load is safe. Once the merchandise leaves the American Factory Direct loading dock the safety of your load becomes the liability of the customer.
  • Furniture picked up at the warehouse may require assembly. The online sales team will be able to tell you if assembly is required.

Important Things You Need To Know

Your room must be cleared and ready for your new furniture, delivery drivers are not allowed to move or relocate existing furniture in your home due to liability reasons. Drivers are only responsible for damage to merchandise that they are delivering.

Please make note that American Factory Direct requires all Special Orders be delivered. This furniture is not quickly replaceable, and we have to be the party responsible for a safe delivery to your home. Our delivery trucks require 13’6” of height clearance and driveway access. Delivery trucks are under 26,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight. Therefore, American Factory Direct is not liable for any driveway damage.

If for safety reasons, furniture requires securing to the wall, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to have this done. American Factory Direct delivery drivers are not allowed to perform this service for you.

Any delivery that will require more than two team members may incur an additional charge.

Delivery FAQs

How do I set delivery?

Once your order is complete, our delivery coordinator will be alerted to contact you to set your delivery for the next available delivery date that is convenient to you. Please remember that all orders must be paid in full prior to setting delivery.

Our deliveries are routed geographically using a state-of-the-art computer program. This allows for you to be able to track your delivery online the day of your delivery at www.afd-furniture.com you will be able to use your order number or phone number to track your delivery.

American Factory Direct is unable to provide time windows due to circumstances beyond our control such as traffic, accidents, delivery cancellations, etc.

What if I need to cancel my delivery?

At American Factory Direct we understand that life happens. In the event you need to cancel a delivery after being confirmed, please give 48 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees.

We pull stage and route 48 hours or more in advance.

In the case of a canceled delivery, the re-scheduling process takes 5 business days. When you are ready to reset your delivery please contact our delivery coordinator at 985-871-0300 ext. 8027.

Due to storage cost, other customer demands and limited storage area, deliveries or pickups must be scheduled once your order is filled. We will not hold furniture.

What if I need to make a warranty claim?

American Factory Direct honors manufacturers’ warranties for one year. Manufacturer warranties may cover some items longer than one year; however labor is for one year only.

When purchasing full set up and delivery service, we will send our professionally trained service technician to your home. Delivery damages/defects must be reported within three days of delivery. A delivery damage claim form can be submitted through the AFD website using the form below. We reserve the right to repair any damaged/defective merchandise in lieu of replacement per manufacturer warranty and store policy.

Items purchased “AS IS”, Floor Model Closeouts, Tent Sales, and Warehouse Sale are excluded from warranty claims.

To report any manufacturer defects you must submit a Warranty Claim through the AFD website: https://afd.knorrweb.com/protection-plan/warranty-contact within 12 months of your delivery.
